Beckie named
frosh all-American
Texas Tech soccer forward Janine Beckie was named to the freshman all-American team by Top Drawer Soccer this week.
Beckie was a first-team selection to the team after recording 14 goals and five assists in helping lead the Red Raiders to their first NCAA tournament appearance this past season.
Beckie was one of two Big 12 players named to the team and is the second Tech player in four years to earn the honor, joining Taylor Lytle.
